Binita is an orphan who lives with her mother. Her mother is unemployed and speech-impaired. The family is in a really fragile condition. Although she is doing well in her studies, without any assistance for financial aid, Binita might have to quit school. She currently lives with her grandmother and uncles.

Ghanashyam is one of the six children to a working class farming family. He lives really far away from school. His diligence in his studies has been reflected in his performance in school. He stands on top of his class and assistance from NCEF will help him continue his further education.

Pushpa’s father had an unfortunate accident at work which left him handicapped. Due to this, her mother eloped leaving her and her father alone. Her father is unable to work and therefore cannot afford to send her to school.

She is one of the five daughters supported by a single mother. It is extremely difficult for her single parent to provide for her educational expenses. Rugu is doing well in her studies. Financial aid from NCEF will be very helpful to assist her to continue her further education.

Sunam is a hardworking student and lives with her siblings and parents. Her father is a tailor and is trying hard to make ends meet. Sunam has shown continuous progress in her studies in the past year which resulted in promotion in her grade.

Sunita has not been able to attend school so far due to the dire financial conditions of her family. She has four siblings and her parents work as potters. Her parents’ income is not sufficient to cover educational expenses that would incur if she were to be admitted in school.

Swastika has been living with grandmother. After the death of her father, her mother eloped leaving her behind with her grandmother. Her grandmother herself is not financially well off and it is extremely difficult for her to merely support the child let alone be sending her to school.
