Anjali’s mother is a widow. They were supported by Anjali’s brother who unfortunately passed away last year. The family is undergoing major financial crisis and without assistance from NCEF, Anjali will not be able to attend school.

Dhanmaya is a really diligent student and has shown continuous progress in her studies. Her father works as a laborer and has frail health conditions which are affecting the financial situation of the family. Assistance from NCEF will be really critical for continuing her further education.

Ganga has demonstrated continuous progress in her studies. Due to the poor financial condition of the family, support from NCEF is critical for her to be able to continue her further education.

Hasnath is very enthusiastic in his studies. His family is undergoing financial problems and efforts from NCEF will assist him to continue his education.

Heena is a member of a huge family. She has 4 siblings and her family is not very educated. The earnings of her family are not enough to allocate money for education.

Jyoti’s mother is physically disabled therefore her family cannot afford to spend money on her education.

Kamala is one among five daughters in the family. Her family falls under what is considered as the “untouchables”. Several members of her family are unemployed and therefore it makes it difficult to allocate fund for education.

Krishna is a really hardworking student. Her father has left her and her mother behind. Her mother is trying to complete her education while she is also trying to raise a family. The family is undergoing financial hardship and cannot bear the expenses for Krishna’s education.

Maya belongs to a large family. All of her siblings are still in school and have no source of income. Maya is recognized as a really diligent student. Help from NCEF will help her continue her education.

Melina is a part of a huge family with 9 members. Due to the large size of her family, the income earned by her father alone is not sufficient to support the family’s daily expenses. She is an enthusiastic learner and is eager to continue her education.

Pavitra has shown exceptional performance in her studies in the past year. She and her other three siblings are supported by her single mother. It is extremely difficult for her mother to support four children and therefore cannot provide financial support for their education.

Pooja’s father has abandoned her family to settle down with his second wife. Pooja has four siblings and her mother is the only person supporting her family currently. Under these circumstances, funds from NCEF/CE will be critical to continue her further education.

Rabiska’s father works as a laborer in a local company. His work is very unstable and he is worried about his daughter’s education.

Salu’s mother earns her income by washing dishes for other people. She does not have a good relationship with her husband. Her minimal income cannot support educational expenses for her daughter.

Sangeeta is very eager to continue her further education. She would like to get a job and support her siblings in the future. The financial condition of her family is not that great and her relatives are unable to support her family.

Sonal’s family is undergoing dire financial conditions. Her father works as a laborer in India. Her family currently does not have enough money to cover bare essential needs of the family. Sonal would like to continue her education and become a teacher in the future.

Sujal is a hardworking student and the teachers have seen progress in his studies. His father works as a conductor and barely makes enough money to support his family.

Suraj’s mother works as a maid. Their financial condition is pitiful and assistance from NCEF/CE for their further education will be much appreciated.
